A Light Installation In A Pitch-Black Space
steel, motor, LED, W-Lan, data flow
Two lights swirling around in circles on the ceiling of the exhibition space. Their circular movement appeared as if they were chasing one another and seemingly didn’t follow a specific pattern. Within the darkened gallery one would loose track of space and scale. In fact, the LED lights were mounted to a five-armed pendulum moved by a motor that received data from measurements of sun activity. Das Numen MOMENTUM was exhibited at Deutsches Architekturzentrum Berlin in 2013.
