Das Fest was a 4 day long fair at an abandoned amusement park in Berlin Plänterwald. Within the context of a cultural event hosted by Hebbel Am Ufer theatre in Berlin an event was created that functioned as a counterpart to the artistic programming of the festival: A situation full of reality was hosted, where only and especially the party’s items were staged in the style of a traditional carnival, but the visitors were no actors.
